Three Paper Thin Media artists have featured songs on Paste’s Songs For Haiti campaign. Among the artists, The Rocketboys have the song Triumphs of Love and Forutune from their last full-length, “20,000 Ghosts”; Holy Fiction with the song Iron Eyes from the upcoming album “Hours From It” ; and Fictionist with their song Human Wings, a previously unreleased song from their upcoming full-length “Lasting Echo”.
If you donate, you will have access to these songs as well as 200 others from artists all around the world.

The Rocketboys have posted their first single, ‘We Are a Lighthouse,’ to their Myspace.
The track comes from the group’s upcoming full-length album “20,000 Ghosts,” to be released September 29.
“20,000 Ghosts,” was engineered and produced by Louie Lino (Nada Surf, Matt Pond PA), mastered by Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens, Animal Collective) and features artwork from “Dark Was The Night” artist, Ryan Feerer. Cream Team is a Chicago based blog, but isn’t limited to the Chicago area. They cover everything from electro-dance pop to Singer Songwriters with indie-like quality
Their knack for finding bands with a unique sound– and true-underground status– sets them apart from the ubiquitous sea of blogs who post press releases from publicists(Not such a bad thing?).
Not only do they take the time to research the artists and songs they cover; but they write interesting and in-depth features on relatively unknown artists that they spend time looking for.
I spend a good amount of time on this blog each week and hope you will too.
